Toners help remove any remaining dirt, oil, or impurities left on the skin after cleansing. They prepare the skin to better absorb subsequent skincare products.
What is a hydrosol?
Hydrosols are the aromatic water-soluble constituents from the steam distillation process of plants. Through this natural extraction process, hydrosols contain small amounts of essential oils but not near the amount that essential oil extracts contain. Because they are less concentrated than essential oils (having a natural ratio vs extremely concentrated) they have a very subtle scent and are gentler and milder on the skin. Hydrosols are suitable for direct application on all skin types, including sensitive skin.
